Q – What is the earliest time we can check in on our arrival?

A – 4pm is the earliest time

Q – What time do we have to depart on our departure date?

A – 10am is the departure time. If you would like to have a late check out this will need to be discussed with the owner depending on the next arrivals etc

Q – Can you smoke in any of the Accommodation?

A – No although please feel free to smoke outside

Q – What household appliances are provided?

A – All the cottages and Shepherd’s huts have the standard household appliances; these include toaster, kettle, saucepans, crockery, microwave, fridge / freezer and cutlery/utensils. Our Yurts have access to the “Llethrau Village Hall” which has a fully equipped kitchen only a short walk away.

Q – Are the BBQ’s charcoal?

A – All BBQs are Charcoal and initial charcoal is provided. If you would like anymore it will be an additional cost.

Q – Are logs provided for the log burners?

A – Yes initially, more logs can be purchased onsite.

Q – Does all the accommodation have towels and linen provided?

A – Yes, all bedding and towels are provided.

Q – Is using a sat nav to get to your destination a good idea?

A – Yes, although the postcode is shared with six/seven other houses in the area, and often takes one in up a very unfriendly steep and narrow road.   We would suggest using the directions provided after Knighton or Clun depending on which way you come in.

Q – Do mobiles work?

A – No, there is no mobile phone signal at the Llethrau (or hardly any!). We do have a traditional red phone box with a pay phone in it available to use. Taking only coins.

Q – Is there wifi?

A – Yes, this is located in the Internet Café only

Q – Can we arrange a grocery delivery to the Llethrau?

A – Yes we do have delivery’s from Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys. If you would like to arrange delivery please let the Owner know prior to your arrival, so he can arrange for someone to be present for it.

Q – While we are staying at the Llethrau can we have visitors?

A – Yes, just please note parking may be difficult. Visitors may need to park further down the drive.

Q – Do you accept dogs?

A – Yes dogs are more than welcome at the Llethrau. Just please no pets on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Also please note we are surrounded by farms and livestock. So when walking the footpaths please keep dogs on leads

Q – How accessible is the Llethrau in the Snow?

A – During the winter, snow can make it difficult to get to the Llethrau. But the main roads are always gritted and surrounding farms are always on hand with tractors and 4 x 4s if needed to help you get in and out.

Q – Are all cars suitable to get to the Llethrau?

A – No, sports cars are not suitable but all other cars are suitable. Just please be aware the road can be very rough and in the winter months quite slippy.

Q – How accessible is your accommodation for the elderly and disabled?

A – There are numerous numbers of steps needed to access the accommodation at the Llethrau. There is no access for wheelchairs.

Q – Is there a pub within walking distance?  Or Shops?

A –  No the nearest pubs are in Beguildy, Felindre and the Anchor –  all within 10 min drive. Beguildy has a local shop which sells basic amenities.

Q – Is there tourist information?

A – Yes, you can find tourist information brochures in the internet café on the local area.

Q –  How do we get the keys?

A – Once a booking is made we will forward you a code which will need to access the lock box located onsite. There is also a large map of the Llethrau which you will be able to locate your accommodation.

Q –  Will somebody be available to help with luggage and show us to our accommodation?

A – We have recently changed our checking in policy, you will now be able to collect your keys without seeing anybody (as above). We have a large map so you can find your accommodation and make your way there. If you do require help please get in touch before you arrive to make sure somebody is on hand.
