This Indian styled Shepherds Hut makes for a charming and beautiful low cost holiday with your other half in Wales (Powys) in the beautiful Welsh countryside!
Hidden away in a beautiful rural setting this bespoke made Shepherds Hut is situated on a wooded bank above the Holiday Cottages. This luxury escape boasts spectacular views across the valley and has its own private outdoor area for you to relax and enjoy your sweet escape.
Inside the Shepherds Hut is decorated with reclaimed antique furniture, an old wooden floor, ethnic colours and features, and a cosy wood burner. It has its own little built in self-catering kitchen with a hob and microwave oven, fridge and sink. It has its own private bathroom at the end of the hut, with a power shower, heated towel rails and bathroom facilities.
The holiday rental is in an unique rural getaway that has been very popular with couples for romantic short breaks and rural retreats. Sleeps two on a kind double or alternatively two in single bed format.
There’s Wi-Fi available in the on-site internet café only. The local shop and pub serving food just over 4 mile away.

After a wonderful stay ourselves, my husband and I booked a break for our parents. They thoroughly enjoyed their first experience of glamping and Tom and Kyona were as helpful and accommodating hosts as before. Now we are jealous of our parents and dying to return to the beautiful Shanti!

This place was fantastic. Clean, warm (despite it being freezing and stormy during our stay), and great hospitality from Tomas. The hut was lovely and self-contained, and the added bonus of the internet cafe, laundry room, etc. were great. The landscape itself is breath taking, particularly from the top of the hill. Look forward to visiting again.

We stayed in the shepherds hut during a period of heavy snow between Christmas and new year - it was idyllic. The plot which Tomas owns is set in a beautiful valley, surrounded by amazing scenery. There are walks which you can do straight from the site which are amazing . The hut itself was of a good spec and finished to a high standard. The log burner was perfect for making it cosy on those cold winter nights. The bathroom and shower were something you would find in a 5* hotel room not an Airbnb. Tomas was super friendly and readily available. Will definitely be back again!

This was our second trip to Shanti and Nadine in just a few months - the memories lingered and we just had to return! And it did not disappoint. The air was as crisp and reviving as before, but this time we got the wild Autumn winds (whilst snug in the super comfy bed with log fire roaring) and then a perfectly still autumnal morning with scarlet sunrise and gentle birdsong. Thanks Tom again for creating such a magical retreat. See you at Christmas :-)

Amazing weekend. Fantastic walking and the hut had everything and looked even better than the pictures. Great walks on the doorstep so no need to get back in the car all weekend. Didn't meet Tomas but Ky greeted us warmly. Highly recommended and will be back. Thanks so much. Amazing place!

Such an amazing place to say to unwind. We had a fantastic time here as it is perfectly located to either relax in front of the fire in the countryside or travel for some adventures, both of which we managed. The hut had everything we could need and Tom was on hand if we needed help or advice. I would certainly recommend a stay if you're thinking of it and will be trying to go back again soon.
