About Forest View Barn – Sleeps 2 with room for extra 2 of sofa beds
Our self-catering Holiday Cottage, Forest View Barn is a beautiful converted old cow shed located in Powys, Wales. As you walk into the cottage you will notice the A-frame solid glass end, making you feel like you’re in the forest that surrounds you. This gives a spacious and unique feel to sit, switch off and relax surrounded by trees and flowers.
The Holiday Cottage has a private garden suitable, with outside furniture for breakfasts and BBQ’s – it’s the perfect couples retreat, great for singles and those looking for family holidays and will appeal to those looking for comfort and luxury. You will be close nature in a perfect romantic getaway and rural retreat so take some time to relax and enjoy a weekend or short break.
The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom has a comfortable zip and link king bed which can also be made up as two singles at your request. A recently refurbished small galley kitchen for all your self-catering holiday needs, including a wood-burning stove so guests can choose to cook and heat the building more traditionally. You can also choose to use the electric radiators and electric cooker provided. The main living room has a pine dining table, seating 4, 2 large sofa beds which open as king doubles, and a writers desk with forest views along with a warming wood burner. Decorated eclectically with persian rugs, paintings, and a large book collection, nestled in the wild gardens of the Llethrau.
We supply wood from our own land for the 2 wood burners that heat the cottage, available on a donation basis. There are also electric heaters throughout to cottage.
Wi-Fi is available in the on-site internet café. The local shop and Radnorshire Arm pub serving food just over 4 miles away.

Cottage was warm, cosy and private. It was well equipped and beautifully decorated.
Tom, the owner, was welcoming, friendly, helpful and laid back...it was easy to feel at home on the property.
The property was fabulous....me and my dog didn't leave for a week because there were great walks straight from the cottage.
I will definitely be going back!

Perfect place to escape to for a relaxing holiday. Welcoming, helpful host,
lovely countryside, very comfortable accommodation, plenty of logs and kindling for the wood burner. When it rained we enjoyed staying by the fire reading or
watching DVDs.
