Our Alpine Holiday Cottage is a stunning ’chalet barn’ in Wales which boasts atmospheric newly renovated interior with lovely forest views; a real holiday gem for your vacation.
Our pet friendly Holiday Cottage has a main master bedroom that is situated on a mezzanine which overlooks the barn. The cottage has a luxurious super king bed with a relaxing and romantic feel, there are also 2 fold out beds in the main bedroom perfect for kids sleeping 2. The unique Holiday Cottage incorporates oak beams, Persian rugs, a comfortable living area with sofas surrounding a wood burning stove and is full of characterful artwork and a treasure trove for the avid reader set over 2 floors. It’s a perfect romantic getaway to relax, unwind and enjoy a weekend break.
The self-catering kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. There is also a second bedroom which can be set up with two singles or a king bed that is ideal for family holidays. The lounge area has a fold out double bed to cater for an extra 2 people. Sleeping 8 in total. There is a bathroom with toilet on the ground floor, greenhouse/conservatory and a small outdoor garden with BBQ.
Wi-Fi is available in the on-site internet café only. The local shop and Radnorshire Arm pub serving food just over 4 miles away.

This is the perfect romantic getaway. The holiday cottage is oozing with character and perfectly placed to explore lots of beautiful walks. There isn't much nearby so you will need a car but the seclusion is the best thing about it. I particularly enjoyed the Aga and the wood burning stove. Very relaxing venue and would return. Lovely location, road/track to holiday cottage not for the faint hearted, holiday cottage was very cosy and well equipt. Loads of lovely walks for the dog. Owner Tom was very helpful and friendly....would love to come back :)
