The venue accommodates for everything from; weekend or short breaks, family holidays, singles holidays, girls trips, rural retreats, couples retreats, honeymoons, solo holidays and we also offer dog-friendly Holiday Cottages, Shepherds Huts and Yurts.
How about booking the whole venue out for a family reunion? We offer low-cost group accommodation for up to 22 people. Please get in touch if your seeking group accommodation for anything from girls trips, hen parties, stag dos, corporate events – to team building activities, party venues, small wedding venues, wedding reception venues, birthdays party venues and function room hire. We are also able to offer a unique hire space for yoga courses, art courses, writers retreats, or any event you wish to hold.
We want to reassure all our guests that we are making the Llethrau as safe as possible. All our accommodation is deep cleaned with high standard products before and after your stay. We also provide hand sanitiser, antibacterial soap and antibacterial spray in each of the properties available for guests to use. Our laundry is laundered by a local company to an extremely high standard and our cleaners are provided with gloves and facemasks also ensuring that infection is not transmitted from one holiday maker to the next. We want guests and staff to feel safe when they come to the Llethrau!
This holiday gem is located in a private and hidden valley. It's a beautiful and peaceful setting, far away from the noise of traffic and the stress of city life - one of Wales's true secret escapes. Our self-catering Shepherds Huts, Yurts and Holiday Cottages are located in Powys which is just five minutes from the Shropshire border. We are surrounded by the border towns of Knighton, Newtown, Presteigne, Ludlow, Leominster and Hay-on-Wye and are only a short drive to Powis Castle. We are also near the beautiful dams of Elan Valley. Which makes us a great base to explore this diverse and flourishing region. We are lucky to be in an unspoilt and little-visited tourist destination that is off the beaten track. There is a great folk and country music scene locally and lots to do and explore along the Welsh and Shropshire borders and beyond. The coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Aberdyfi, Borth, Ynyslas, with their stunning beaches can be reached within 1 hour 20 minutes. Snowdonia National Park is only 2 hours away. The shepherd hut was an amazing place to relax , Tom the owner is really helpful and a perfect host . Recommended is if you want to switch off and remember what it felt like to relax.
